Through the initiative of D.Ev. Freddie Nuyad, Tagum Congregation collected used clothes for the victims of Typhoon Sendong. D. Ev. Nuyad went to Cagayan de Oro to further assess the situation and to bring the relief goods we have send to him. Fortunately, our members in the Cagayan area are all alright. There were no reported casualties though houses were flooded. Livestock and crops were damaged such as bananas. D.Ev. Nuyad excerpts from his sms messages:
A faithful sister to the rescue
Sister Leneth Nalam, who is a NAC member voluntarily help her congregation even though she and her family where greatly affected by the typhoon, too. We have sent her assistance for the early assistance needed by her congregation. She bought and packed relief goods and nipa for San Juan, Hinatuan members. There were 5 New Apostolic families helped.
