Our school project in Acmonan, Tupi, the province of South Cotabato (see previous posts) makes progress. Our member of the board, Freddie Nuyad was on a site visit and reports the construction is expected to be finished soon. “It is on such physical demanding ocular inspection when we realize how much needed such facilities are” He reports. Indeed there are many families with children in areas not reached by development. How hard will a start up in live be for them, when they once come to urbanized areas, full of hope and expectation? How frustrating must it be when they have grown up with no education and realize somehow they had no chance in their childhood and missed the most basic of an education.
