Organised by the Swiss Club Philippines, Sponsored by FRACHTforward, 10 am Manila time (4 am in Basel) the opening of the 3 days festive celebration was enjoyed by a group of friends of Basel lead by HE Dr. Nicolas Bruehl (Ambassador of the Confederation of Switzerland to the Philippines)
Proceeds went to Educational support Program of NACSEARelief. A special thank you to organizers and sponsors. We appreciate to be remembered.
The Basel Carnival (Basler Fasnacht) was recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2017 marking it significance as a unique cultural tradition.
