35 families of Sitio Codilla, located at Brgy. Labrador, Ormoc City were the happy recipients of newly built duplex homes  and repaired houses with an additional newly built Multipurpose Hall.

When Typhoon Yolanda hit the region, the community with houses of very light materials situated in the middle of a rice field was badly hit. The families of farmers put up tents and makeshifts houses after the typhoon.

Three (3) organizations are the force behind this enormous project; NAK Humanitas of Switzerland, the funding agency, NACSEARelief and Philippine Island Kids Intl Foundation (PIKIFI) on the ground.

Organizing the community and identifying the need, making detailed plan and necessary documentation; PIKIFI and NACSEARelief officially starts the project August 18, 2014 and finished the turnover last August 4, 2015.

The project has met setbacks and limitations too but with the community enthusiasm as the greatest strength of the project, rebuilding has come to success in the end.

The next step for the community organize themselves for livelihood projects such as farming cooperative.
