NACSEA Relief, with the help of nak-karitativ, Germany, continues to assist communities rebuilding their lives in areas devastated by typhoon Yolanda in November 2013. Two new school building were inaugurated in Batad, Ilo Ilo, on October 1st. See the report of our field supervisor, Ms Mabelle Bagtas.
NACSEA Relief, Inc. continues to assist communities rebuilding their lives in areas devastated by typhoon Yolanda in November 2013. Many schools still lack roofs and adequate classrooms. The community did not know how they could recover. Yet NACSEA Relief surges forward and with the funding of Nak Karitativ and “sweat equity” of local teachers and parents, the flow of hope continued.
On Oct 1, 2015, NACSEA Relief Inc., embarked an early morning and three hours trip from Manila to Batad, Iloilo to participate in the turnover ceremony of following completed school building projects;
- One New School Building with 3-classrooms & Furniture Teodoro Gomeri Elementary School located @ Alinsolong, Batad, Iloilo.
- One New School Buiding with 3-classrooms & Furniture @ Batad National High School
Parents, Teachers and Students of both schools were all very happy and thankful to have received such a great blessing. Total of 1,650-students have benefited these projects.

During the turn-over ceremony, high school teachers of Batad National High School cried a lot of times because they were so happy that their underfunded school finally have new classrooms where they will be able to educate their students.
