Another devastating storm hit the Philppines. On 15 October Typhoon Lando entered Philippine Area of Responsibilities and state of calamity has been raised in the regions of I,II, III, IVA, NAC and CAR, which means the northern Luzon area.
With infrastructure and most agricultural fields devastated by the rains and floods, NACSEARelief went on relief outreach in the areas of Nueva Ecija, Isabela, Cagayan, Ilocos and Pangasinan with total of 233 family beneficiaries. Volunteer workers from the Church ministry organized relief goods distribution in Pangasinan that lasted up to1 AM in the morning. Continued planning is being made in terms of crops and farming assistance.
