Seeds are life and the beginning of growth and harvest. NACSEARelief’s Marlene Datario reports about our Crops Assistance effort in Pangasinan.
In October 2015, Typhoon Lando hits Northern Luzon and destroyed the fields making the harvest impossible. NACSEARelief made a relief operations in the area (see our news post on November 12.2015) Now time has come to plant again and a small crops assistance program was launched benefiting farmers in the community. Total of 8 families were the recipient of different crops assistance mostly rice and peanuts seedlings. We look forward to a new harvest enabling our farmers to continue to dwell and toil their land and move on after the storm.
