No travelling during community quarantine, yet the finished building, the first school infrastructure in the area, should not have to wait until the virus is gone and DepEd Team, PTA, and Hinoba-an LGU have organized a “Blessing Ceremony” on Thursday, July 16, 2020 to officially turnover the new classrooms to the faculty.
The Teacher-In-charge, Mr. Leo Villarin on behalf of DepEd, extended their gratitude to NACSEARelief, NAK-Humanitas of Switzerland and its donors not only for its marvelous generosity but more so for stepping up and expanding levels of support to help make their dreams of having conducive learning facility come true.
He said that the new school facility will not only provide safe, secure and welcoming environment but will also invite the interest of more parents in neighbouring community to send their children to school.
Special thanks and acknowledgment to NACSEARelief management and construction team headed by Sofonie Nuyad for the beautiful design work, and for making the process as painless as possible despite the countless challenges of Covid-19. For them the Covid challenges have not yet ended. Still stranded as of today on site due to lack of flights going home.
All are also looking forward for another celebration for the successful completion of this project and to cutting the ribbon together soon in
presence of the children!
