The house rebuilding assistance project in Manay, Davao Oriental has begun following the 7.4-magnitude earthquake that impacted the area. Rebuilding activities started last week, and one out of the 18 affected houses has already been completed.

The project is expected to take 168 days to fully rebuild all damaged homes. Beneficiaries are receiving support not only through the provision of construction materials but also through skilled labor from carpenters, ensuring that each house is rebuilt safely and with dignity.

The first beneficiary whose home was completed expressed great happiness and relief in having their house restored, marking a meaningful step toward recovery. We sincerely thank our donor for their continued generosity and unwavering support in making this project possible.
