Children in urbanized areas are privileged. They have classrooms  and teachers. There are however still many communities,  where children are out of school because it needs hours to walk to reach a classroom. Children go to church but not to school, one of these isolated locations is Sitio Kiabog, Brgy Bito, Malita, Davao Occidental.

“NAC foreign extension” a subsidiary of the New Apostolic Church of Canada has supported NACSEARelief to reach out by providing enhanced infrastructure for education.

In  a festive ceremony our Director and board of trustee member Rev. Freddie Nuyad has turned over the newly constructed facility to the Department of Education. The Barangay Captain Hon. Janice Martin and members of  LGU was joined by representatives of DEPED and  faculty members, parents and children to celebrate the collective effort with support from Canadian charity.

Special thanks go to the President of NAC Canada, the DA Mark Woll for the genereous support. The new classroom represents hope, progress, and a brighter future for the children and the community and is an example of how much can be accomplished with true international collaboration. Another step towards a sustainable future of marginalized children.
