As part of the continuing earthquake response, NACSEA Relief Inc. provided essential house-rebuilding materials to 37 affected families in Jose Abad Santos, helping them take an important step toward rebuilding their homes and their lives.
Prior the distribution, a “Build Back Safer” training was conducted for all 37 beneficiary families. The training provided practical guidance on safer rebuilding practices and ways to reduce the risk of damage when future disasters occur.
Each family received roofing sheets, wall claddings, plain sheets, lumbers, common nails, and umbrella nails to help them begin rebuilding their homes.
NACSEA Relief team also made a courtesy call to the Office of the Municipal Mayor of Jose Abad Santos, where NACSEA Relief Inc. was honored with a Certificate of Recognition in appreciation of its humanitarian assistance to the affected community.
The families expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the assistance, which came at a time when rebuilding seemed especially difficult. Their appreciation extends most especially to our generous donor, NAK KARITATIV, whose support made this assistance possible.
For Carahayan and Malalan families, the support was particularly meaningful. They shared that it was their first time to receive such a generous quantity of rebuilding materials. With gratitude and renewed hope, they said they can finally begin building their new home. Our sincere thanks to NAK KARITATIV for helping make recovery possible for these families. Their generosity in helping communities rebuild not only their houses, but also their hope for a safer and better tomorrow.
From relief to recovery, NACSEA Relief Inc. stands with disaster-affected families every step of the way
