The support of  families affected by the M7.8 earthquake in Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental, continues.

Now, one month later we have another  update:

Mabelle Bagtas who is again in the area. Here her report:

“From 25–27 September 2026, another batch of house rebuilding materials was distributed to 28 families whose homes were greatly affected by the earthquake. Before the distribution, the beneficiaries participated in a community orientation and Build Back Better seminar facilitated by Jupeter Mamolo and Gonzales Badal. The session emphasized safer and more resilient construction practices to help families rebuild their homes with greater safety and confidence.

The joy and gratitude of the beneficiaries were evident as they received the construction materials. For these families, the assistance means more than just building materials—it represents hope, dignity, and a new beginning as they work toward rebuilding safe homes for their families. NACSEA Relief, Inc.in cooperation of its foreign principal NAKkaritativ of Germany  remains committed to walking alongside earthquake-affected communities as they recover and build back safer and stronger.”
