Shelter was quickly set up.
Our first meeting with officials revealed that Merville Community donated clothing and various religious organization provided food.
NACSEARelief was asked to provide school material. So we did with the staff of Le Delice, the Merville Deli and Restaurant at the MPHA Country Club.
150 schoolbags with drawing- and writing-material were distributed Thursday 30th March. Thanks to generous donation by Le Delice and collaboration with Barangay officials under the leadership of Councillor Mrs Wezie Gutierez much joy could be brought to the children which was visible on their faces.
